I am in NO WAY agreeing with your husband and his "diagnosis"...but i think what he is reacting to is the fact that there have been some reports that (some) parents are indeed "creating" these diagnosis in their kids. "Autism" is the latest medical buzzword to explain very normal behaviors in many kids. Apparently the medical community is jumping on the bandwagon to appease parents that just NEED an answer to behavior they cant seem to control. I'm not saying this is the case with you or your child...but when i read your post i had to tell you that maybe he heard this also and was reacting...??? Either way, its got to be tough to deal with...but you are strong and ive seen you get through much worse!!! :)
